A rare and curious set of posters promoting the sciences, each with an intriguing mixture of collage and quotations. The posters are The Oceans, Earth, The Poles, Sun and Earth, Weather and Climate and Space. Each image is accompanied by a literary quotation from the likes of Walt Whitman, Lord Byron, Edgar Alan Poe and Leonardo Da Vinci. The images, in a style very similar to Hans Erni's, are an appealing colorful montage of classical figures and photographs. The set comes with a diagram on different ways to display the posters, as well as a very out-of-date order form, from which copies of the posters could have been ordered for $5.75 per set of six!
